There are days when you look at your life and feel stuck. Days when the weight of your situation makes you question whether success is even possible for you. And in those moments, it's easy to look around, compare yourself to others, and feel discouraged.
But heres the truth most people forget:
Your situation today is temporary. Your tomorrow is still being built.
Today may be your season of struggle, but tomorrow can be your season of growth, freedom and fulfilment. What you are going through now is not a punishment- it is preparation.
And i say this from experience.
My story: Starting From Almost Nothing
Im 18 years old and grew up in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I didn't have a stable life. I didn't have money. I didn't even have basic comfort. Most of my days were spent trying to survive, not thrive.
My only mode of transportation was a secondhand bicycle, which i used for school, work, commute, errands everything. Meanwhile many of my batchmates had motorcycles. I used to watch them ride comfortably why i pedaled under the heat, sweating and struggling.
Yes i felt envy.
But over time, i learned that comparison only blinds you from your own path.
Life began to change only when i stopped focusing on what i didn't have today. And instead on what i could build for tomorrow.
That's when i discovered writing.
Writing wasn't easy at first. I doubted my skill. I didn't know where to start. Also i dont have my own personal wifi i just connect to my neighbors wifi. But something inside me said, keep going. This might be your doorway to success. And it was.
I wrote stories, insights, reflections- anything that could help people who needed guidance. Some writers charged money, but i shared my words for free becuase i wanted to help first before expecting anything return.
Slowly my articles gained views then i started earning- not a lot, but enough to remind me: Your tomorrow rewards the effort you give today.
The Part of the Process
If you feel like life is hard right now, it's becuase you're in the middle of your process. Every person who succeeded went through their own chapter pf struggle first.
Your today is not meant to be perfect. It's meant to shape you for what's coming.
Lets talk about the three stages almost all of us face.
1. Struggles
Struggles are the first signs that you're moving. They show up when you're trying to change your life.
My struggle was waking up early to bike long distances, sacrificing sleep, and forcing myself to learn skills i knew nothing about. I felt behind. I felt slow. I felt like i wasn't enough.
But struggles teach you something powerful:
What is difficult today becomes normal tomorrow.
Every skill i have now was once something i felt scared to try.
Every dream you chase begins with a struggle. But struggle doesn't mean stop- it means grow.
2. Hardships
Hardships are deeper than struggles. They're the moments when life hits you emotionally.
They are...
• the nights you cry alone
• the days you question your purpose
• the pressure of expectations
• the fear of failing
• the pain of not having enough
Hardships feel painful becuase they are pushing you out of your comfort zone.
But here's what tomorrow teaches:
You hardships today are the roots of the strength you will rely on tomorrow.
Nothing builds character like hardship.
Nothing builds patience like waiting.
Nothing builds discipline like sacrifice.
One day, you will look back and say, ''Everything i went through prepared me.
3. Failures
Failures are not the opposite of success- they are part of the path. In writing, i failed countless times. Articles that no one read. Clients that didn't reply. Drafts that weren't good enough.
But failure showed me what to improve. It revealed my weakness so i could build strengths.
Your failure today becomes your wisdom tomorrow. No one succeeds without failing first. Failure is a teacher disguised as a setback.
